UW Payment Hub is a state-of-the-art feature that allows your customers to log on and pay their invoices in real time online. UW Payment Hub uses Propay technology, so it is both secure and convenient for you and your customers. The UW Payment Hub feature requires a UnitWise website to display the login link for your customers (available for Consultant Complete & Director Complete packages). In order to set up your UW Payment Hub, you need to meet three criteria: your package must have a website, you must link your UnitWise account to ProPay, and you cannot have any duplicate contacts with the same email address. When the criteria is met, the login link will be added to your website. It can be found in the bottom right corner of your home page. You have an option to notify your customers about your new feature with an email marketing message in UnitWise.
There is a convenient template already created for you to use. All you need to do is send it to all your customers or individual customers that are interested in this feature. You can then assign UW Payment Hub log in to each customer individually, or they can create their login and password by following the link in the email. (Please, note that they need to use the email address you have listed in your UnitWise account.) When an invoice with a UW Payment Hub link is sent to a customer, he or she can then follow the link, and then log on to the UW Payment hub using their email & password. Your customer has an option to update their password if needed. When logged on, your customer will be able to view open invoices and have the ability to make a payment. Your customer can decide to make a full or partial payment toward the invoice at that time, as well. Since the sales receipt requires payment at the time the order is entered, the UW Payment Hub is exclusively for invoices. When a customer completes a payment, your system will display the invoice marked as paid. The status of the invoice will also indicate the invoice is paid via the UW Payment Hub, so you can keep track of payments made via that feature.
What happens if my customer tries to login but cannot remember her password? Can she reset it on her own?
Yes, Kara. Your customer can simply click the "Forgot Password" button and have a new password sent to her.
Will she be able to see her Product Purchase History?
Yes. When you first set up your UW Payment Hub, you will be prompted to choose where you would like your customers to see their purchase history.
