1) What is UnitWise?

UnitWise is a comprehensive web-based program designed to help you succeed in your business. It's got loads of features like customer, inventory, time and money management, plus email marketing integration. It's a convenient, safe and secure way of doing business, on any computer, any time.

2) How Does UnitWise work?

It's web-based, so it works similar to your online banking account or your InTouch* site. Your information--contacts, customers, inventory, training material, blog, etc.--is stored safely on our servers, ready to be accessed at any time, on any computer.

3) Do I have to download anything?

Nope, UnitWise is all online. As long as your computer can connect to the internet, with a browser like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari (on a Mac or PC) then it can run UnitWise. Any updates to the program or to the product line will be done automatically by us. All you have to do is log on!

4) Can I store credit card information on UnitWise?

UnitWise has integrated ProPay’s secure ProtectPay system. That means after you link your ProPay account, you type in credit cards in UnitWise and they are stored with ProPay automatically. It's safe and secure, so you don't have to keep your customer's financial information written down in your house!

5) Can you bring in my Intouch reports?

Yes. We'll bring them in automatically once you set up the option to do so.

6) Can I use UnitWise offline?

Not yet, but we're working on an offline version that will let you use your account on your desktop, then sync with any updated information, emails, etc., when you connect to the internet.

7) Can I use UnitWise on my phone?

Yes! You can use every feature on your mobile browser, though it might be a bit squished. We're working on a version optimized for mobile phones, but it's taking a while--shrinking down a program isn't easy!

8) How many computers can I use it on?

As many as you want! Since the program is web-based, it's not tied to a single computer. That means you can use it on any computer--Mac or PC--without paying for extra licenses like you would with a desktop application.

9) How much does a UnitWise membership cost?

We've got three pricing tiers, depending on where you are in your career and what you need in a business management program. For the directors and NSDs there's the Full Director Plan for $29.95 a month. For the consultants we have a full Consultant Plan for $24.95 a month, a Consultant Essential plan for $14.95 a month, and a Website plan for $14.95. 10) Can I upgrade my membership?

You sure can! If you debut as a director and want to use UnitWise to manage your unit, you can upgrade to the Director plan. If you're using the Consultant Essential plan and you ready to wow the world with your own customizable UnitWise website, you can upgrade to that as well. Just let us know and we'll get you switched over.

11) Will my information be safe on UnitWise?

We take every precaution to make sure our member information is as safe and secure as possible. We've got an encrypted network, virus protection, firewalls, and a moat with alligators in it. We're in the business of helping your business succeed, if we can't keep your information safe, that's not good business, and that's not what we're about. Your info, contacts, customers and accounts are all safe with us.

12) How do I switch from my current, old software, to UnitWise?

When You Sign-Up, we will import your consultants and customers from InTouch for you!

If you are a Blvd user, we will also import your contacts, products, even invoices into UnitWise using our Blvd migration tool—that way all your years of customer and product history are not lost. After that, you’ll never have to worry about doing data backups. We back up data every 30 seconds.

13) How do I Import Contacts from my Address Book?

In most cases you'll be able to import contacts and information from programs like Microsoft Outlook, Yahoo, Hotmail and Gmail in just a couple of minutes.

14) Can I try UnitWise before becoming a member?

Yes, every account gets the first 15 days free. You can upgrade or cancel at any time.

15) Can I customize my personal UnitWise website?

Yes! We've got several themes for you to choose from, and we're adding more all the time. You can further customize the themes by switching out pictures, fonts, colors and more. We've given you the tools to make your online space fit your personality.

16) Can I use a custom domain name for my UnitWise website?

Yes, if you're using the Director, Website, or Consultant plan (Consultant Essential does not include a website). If you don't own a domain, you can purchase one through us at a reduced price. What this means is that if you own MarySmith.com you can use that domain to point to your UnitWise site. Your customers and friends will still type in MarySmith.com, but what they'll see is your totally awesome customized UnitWise site!

17) Do you update my website with Company information?

Adding information to your website is your responsibility. However you may want to retain the services of My Signature Sites Inc. and Cathy Koning. They have agreed to offer our clients special pricing. They add current information to your site including new Company challenges and pertinent announcements within one business day. 18) How do I make sure the program is up to date?

That's our job. You'll never have to worry about downloading or paying for updates. We'll keep the program and the ever-changing product catalog updated. If there are any big changes or new features, we'll let you know through the News Flash on the Dashboard, and also on our blog.

19) Do I have to pay for any software or inventory updates?

Never. The only charge is your monthly subscription payment. We like to keep things clear and simple. No extra fees here, you can keep your nickels and dimes.

20) Can my assistant login and use my account?

There's no need to share your account login information. Your assistants can have their own login and password information. Simply go to the Virtual Assistant area on the My Accounts page and add a Virtual Assistant from there. They'll have their own login and password. The best part? You can choose which sections of UnitWise they have access to. Just want someone to update your website but don't want them to have access to your inventory? You can do that and more with UnitWise's Virtual Assistant system.

21) What kind of support do you offer?

Only the most heroic kind of support! We've got help text and videos to guide you through the program, forums and chat applications that let you talk with us and other UnitWise members at any time, email support, and finally phone support. 22) Are there any support costs or setup fees?

No. Like we said earlier, you just pay your monthly fee, that’s it.

23) What happens to my data if I choose to cancel my subscription?

Before canceling your account you can download your contact and customer information, inventory and invoices. Once you leave, we'll scrap your data for security reasons, so be sure to take it with you before you leave, really though, why would you leave us?

24) Are the heroes at UnitWise really heroes?

We think so. We're saving people from tedious, outdated, hard-to-use and unsecure programs. We're making business more convenient, and freeing up some of your time for more important things, like friends and family. Also, we once rescued a kitten stuck in a tree, so that has to count for something.
